Terms governing access to and use of the Foundation’s website, content and online services.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using the Foundation’s website (the “Website”), you agree to these Website Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you should not use the Website. These Terms apply to visitors, donors, applicants, volunteers, partners and other users of the Website.

2. About the Foundation

Muslim Mehdi Education Foundation is a company set up under Section 42 of the Companies Act, 2017 and licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan. The Foundation operates on a not-for-profit basis and applies its income and charitable assets toward its approved objects.

The Foundation’s approved educational objects include establishing, managing, maintaining, administering, promoting or supporting educational institutions and programmes, subject to required approvals. The Foundation is not a degree-awarding institution unless it separately obtains lawful authority to act as one.

3. Website information

We aim to keep Website information accurate and current, but programme details, eligibility criteria, campaign targets, event dates, availability and other content may change. Website content is provided for general information and does not constitute legal, tax, financial, medical or other professional advice.

Where a discrepancy exists between Website content and the Foundation’s constitutional documents, licence conditions, board-approved policies or applicable law, those governing documents and legal requirements will prevail.

4. Permitted use

You may use the Website for lawful personal, informational, charitable, educational or engagement purposes. You must not:

  • Use the Website in violation of Pakistani law or any law applicable to you;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, accounts, systems or data;
  • Introduce malware, harmful code, automated attacks, scraping that materially disrupts the Website, or other security threats;
  • Impersonate another person or submit information that is materially false, misleading, fraudulent or unauthorized;
  • Use the Foundation’s name, branding, content, donation appeals or beneficiary information to mislead others, solicit unauthorized funds or suggest an affiliation that does not exist;
  • Harass, exploit, discriminate against or endanger beneficiaries, children, staff, volunteers, donors or other users;
  • Copy or commercially exploit Website content except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

5. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the Website and its original text, graphics, photographs, videos, logos, campaign materials, reports, designs and other content are owned by or licensed to the Foundation and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may view, download or print reasonable extracts for personal, non-commercial and informational use, provided that you do not alter the content, remove ownership notices or imply endorsement. Any broader reproduction, publication, fundraising use, commercial use or creation of derivative materials requires prior written permission unless allowed by law.

6. Donations

Donations made through the Website are also governed by the Foundation’s Donation Policy. By submitting a donation, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and that the information you provide is accurate. A donation does not create ownership, membership, voting, management or other proprietary rights in the Foundation.

The Foundation may reject, hold, return or seek additional information regarding a donation where reasonably necessary for legal, regulatory, sanctions, anti-fraud, anti-money-laundering, counter-terrorist-financing, banking or reputational-risk reasons.

7. Applications, registrations and programme participation

Submitting an application, enquiry, volunteer form, scholarship request or programme registration does not guarantee selection, funding, admission, employment, volunteer placement or any other benefit. The Foundation may apply eligibility, verification, capacity, safeguarding and programme-specific criteria consistent with its approved objects and policies.

8. User submissions

If you submit feedback, comments, testimonials, media or other content, you confirm that you have the right to provide it and that it does not infringe another person’s rights. Any public use of personal stories, photographs or testimonials by the Foundation will remain subject to applicable consent, privacy and safeguarding requirements.

9. Third-party services and links

The Website may use or link to payment gateways, banks, social-media platforms, maps, analytics tools or other third-party services. These services are controlled by third parties and may have separate terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability or practices, although we seek to use reputable providers.

10. Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of the Website for maintenance, security, operational or legal reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access, and we may change Website content or features without prior notice where reasonably necessary.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Website is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not make warranties that the Website will always be uninterrupted, free from harmful components, or suitable for every user’s particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes any obligation or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Foundation, its directors, officers, employees and volunteers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising solely from use of or inability to use the Website, reliance on general Website content, or acts of independent third-party services. This limitation does not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, or liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

13. Privacy

Personal information collected through the Website is handled in accordance with the Foundation’s Privacy Policy, as updated from time to time.

14. Suspension or termination of access

We may restrict or terminate access to the Website or online services where we reasonably believe a user has violated these Terms, created a security risk, engaged in fraud or unlawful activity, or exposed beneficiaries, donors, staff, volunteers or the Foundation to harm.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Website will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan having competent jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms when our Website, services, legal obligations or policies change. The updated Terms will be posted on the Website with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Website after publication of updated Terms constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
